Mansfield & Ashfield 2020 together we mean business

Make IT 2020 to Host ‘Access to Free’ Money Event!

There is £21 million of European money available for businesses trading in Mansfield and Ashfield within the next 18 months and if businesses don’t spend it – it’ll get sent back!

Mansfield and Ashfield is the hub for growing SME’s within the East Midlands and 2020 are driving business growth to the next level by highlighting funding opportunities to help businesses put their development plans in place, expand their workforce or invest in innovation, capital or digital growth.

The event will take place at Ransom Woods Business Park on the 15th June from 7.30am – 9am with an optional workshop from 9am – 10am for one to one support and demonstration of the funding process and eligibility test.

2020 will be highlighting all current funding opportunities available for all businesses, large, small or start up. It will be a realistic one stop shop that any businesses operating within Mansfield and Ashfield will benefit from attending.

Operations Director Caroline Cox comments on the event: ‘The majority of SME’s have a desire to grow their business but either finance or lack of business advice support prevents them from either putting the plans into place or delays them. By highlighting the funding opportunities that our business community is eligible for we are hoping to support the process and push the funding process along, which will boost our local economy and create jobs for our future generation’.

This event is organised in association with the 2020 Make IT group members; Martin Rigley MBE, Lindhurst Engineering, Shane Gunstone, Asmech Systems, Ian Jephson, Jephson Shopfitters, Gary Jordon, GMJ Business & Engineering Services, John Mattinson, Mattinson Consultancy and 2020 Chairman Russell Jones, Hopkins Solicitors.

Mr Jones states; ‘This is very much an interactive event that will be open for questions. We understand the funding process is a minefield and 2020 are working to streamline, simplify and highlight the opportunities. We know Mansfield and Ashfield is a great place to do business and if 2020 can help our community become bigger, better, stronger than we will!’

This event is sponsored by Jephson Shopfitters, breakfast and refreshments included in the £10 administration charge.
